Volunteering for the nonprofit covidactnow.org, Gil built a customizable SEIR model to help simulate scenarios and interventions for COVID infection growth, hospitalizations, and mortality at the county and state level. The model currently informs policymakers across the US National Guard, state, municipal, and corporations; impacting over 10M Americans.
